$241,113.57 was granted to the Wesley A.M.E. Church, which was founded in 1877, and suffered extensive roof, wall and ceiling damage from Hurricane Harvey. The Qatar Harvey Fund gift will fund necessary repairs so the Church can fully resume serving its more than 500 members and the broader Third Ward community through outreach programs.

Status: Repairs were completed in June 2019.
